The Coast Film Festival is a four-day event taking place throughout Laguna Beach from Thursday, November 12th through Sunday, November 15th. This is an outdoor city-wide event. The event brings together the mountains, ocean and coastline conservation through film, photograph, art and music. There will also be speaker panels, meet and greets and interactive outdoor activities. This is a family friendly event.  The goal is to increase awareness of the ocean and coastline and how to care for it. Laguna Beach Virtual Plein Air Painting Invitational

The Laguna Beach Virtual Plein Air Painting Invitational is will held October 3rd through October 11th.  This is the 22nd Annual Laguna Plein Air Painting Invitational, this year due to Covid, the events will be all done virtually. Due to the event being virtual, more people than ever can participate in the event. All artwork will be exhibited online, there will be special LPAPA pricing and there will be an auction. Twenty-five artists have been invited to participate and preserve Laguna Beach’s, 100 plus year-old art tradition. Travels in Mexico at Laguna Art Museum

The Laguna Art Museum is presenting the exhibit Travels in Mexico. The exhibition highlights the Crain collection of 20th century California Watercolors. The paintings were done in Mexico between 1930 and the 1980’s. Featured artists include: Rex Brandt, Phil Dike, Emil Kosa, Phil Paradise, Millard Sheets and Milford Zornes. Promenade on Forest

The Promenade on Forest is open. There is shopping, outdoor dining, and art. There is space for both display art and performance space. This is a pedestrian only area on Forest Avenue; from Coast Highway to Glenneyre Street.  This space will remain pedestrian only through the summer of 2020. The Promenade was designed to support local businesses by creating additional outdoor seating and outdoor merchandise displays. 54th Annual Sawdust Art Festival

The 54th Annual Sawdust Art Festival will be taking place this summer.  Watch their website for updates and news about how they are opening it up to visitors. There will be live demonstrations, local artists, classes and live music. The festival will feature over 200 local artists in a variety of areas including: glassblowing, ceramics, jewelry making, painting, mixed media, fused glass, and photography.
