Although southern California has gorgeous weather this time of year, while most the country does not, if your home is for sale make sure it is a comfortable temperature during showings and open houses. 65 to 70 degrees is comfortable for majority of potential buyers. In addition, there are other tips to create a warm environment. Without starting a fire in a fireplace, draw attention to all fireplaces, by highlighting the mantel or creating a seating vignette around it. Add warm color throws and pillows to couches and chairs. Try colors such as deep reds, oranges and caramels.
